Quick Test

 

Here is a quick test I did last night with one of the shots I took on Jan 27th. Once I get through the remaining photos and can put some time to editing them I'll have an entire set up for everyone!

Slow Month

It's been a slow month for things so far, busy with life and stuff. But, I have gathered a good batch of images for the tilt shift photo project. I'll have them edited and up asap. Meanwhile here is a shot I took using a friend's Nikon D300 w/ the Lensbaby Composer lens. Offers great focusing effects on the spot. Check out what they gots:

Tilt Shift Photography

So with the new year comes more and more projects that I'd like to try out. I'm going to do a series using the tilt shift photography technique. Using selective focus to make the scene look miniture, there are lenses for this which fetch a hefty price so I'm doing all of mine in post with photos I'll be taking over the next few weeks.

Above is my first attempt at this using an old photo I took in Las Vegas a few years ago. Click for a larger version and let me know what you think, if it looks like a miniture model or not.
